Cleveland has been recognized more and more often for the great craft beer town it has become. And it’s the latest city to host the World Beer Festival sponsored by All About Beer Magazine. It arrives on the North Coast Harbor Dock on Saturday, July 13th. General admission tickets are $40 and include a tasting glass and 40 taste tickets for 2-oz samples from over 200 different beers, plus access to local food trucks, and educational seminars. VIP tickets are $75 and include all the above plus a private hospitality area, an upscale food buffet and commemorative glass. VIPs will have early access to the fest starting at 12 noon. Tickets can be purchased online HERE.
The local promoters of the festival have offered me two tickets to give away on my blog, as well as a media pass for myself–I’ve not been to any of the World Beer Festivals in other cities, so I am looking forward to checking it out. I thought I’d change it up a bit and ask a beer trivia question as part of the contest. I’ll draw the winner of two passes from those with the correct answer on Friday, June 28th at 3 p.m.
Here’s the question: You can find the original sign for the first American craft brewery, New Albion Brewing Company, at what modern day craft brewpub?
