Thanksgiving Part Deux: Michigan’s Goose is Cooked

by Renee on November 27, 2010

Today is Thanksgiving at home–had a great time in Chicago, but happy to be back in my cozy little town, which is now all lit up for the holidays. (The Jaycees do a fabulous job decorating here in Chagrin Falls. Stop by for a carriage ride through the town Triangle and some shopping in our unique shops–and don’t forget to have a brew by the fire at the Burntwood Tavern!)

The plan is that Paul and I will be roasting our turkey while Ohio State cooks Michigan’s goose.  There are cranberries for homemade sauce, and Paul is using his mom’s awesome stuffing recipe, while the Buckeyes stuff the Wolverines back to Ann Arbor. I’ve got the green bean casserole covered, but don’t expect much coverage from Team Blue.

Meanwhile, the snow is swirling outside today, and it’s perfect weather for a fire in the fireplace and a good winter warmer. Enjoy, and GO BUCKEYES! Fear the Vest!!!
