Last night there was a great get-together at the Willoughby Brewing Company for May’s Cleveland Craft Beer Meet Up. Kyle from Cleveland Hops put it together, and we had 20 or so folks come out for good conversation, a tour of the brew house, and plenty of great beer! (I just love their peanut butter cup coffee porter!)
We’re already planning our June meet up, and I hope to see a lot of familiar faces and some new ones as well. I have already made arrangements with Ian, the general manager at the Burntwood Tavern in Chagrin Falls, to have us out on Saturday the 18th, at 4 p.m. We’re hoping for good patio weather–it’s going to be a great spot for our gathering! Ian has promisted to have some specials on beer and food for us–they’ve already added some new tap handles since they opened last September, and the craft brew selection is great!
Chagrin Falls (my hometown) has some really wonderful restaurants, patios, bars, shops, a lovely park, of course–the Falls, and our newest attraction: Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams. With the 4:00 start time, I’m hoping you’ll be able to come out early and do some poking around, or stay afterward to enjoy some of the other attractions in town.
