Brewzilla Ticket Giveaway!

by Renee on October 1, 2012

We are just a few short weeks away from Cleveland Beer Week (October 19-27)! And the whole thing culminates with biggest, best, beeriest celebration of them all, Brewzilla! Want tickets? Just leave a comment here on this post, telling me which Beer Week event(s) you’re most interested in attending (outside of Brewzilla, I’ll assume you’d love to go!). I’ll draw one winner of two regular admission tickets, provided by the Cleveland Beer Week organizers, on Monday, October 15 at noon. Ready, set, go!

It’s gotta be the Heavy Metal Dinner at The Greenhouse. Last time they did something with 3Floyds, it was one of the best meals I’ve had all year. Plus, I mean, there was Zombie Dust.

With the exception of Brewzilla the event that made my eyes and taste buds take notice is the Founders Tap Takeover at Mike’s Bar & Grill in Berea. I have yet to try a Founders that has not been love at first sip !!

I’ve got to go with the Bell’s IPA Trifecta at Melt. Love a good IPA and Bell’s does some great ones. Melt will be a great venue for this too, what with all that cheese and stuff.

I am a Cleveland Beer Week Virgin (yes it was hard to admit), and just started brewing my own last year as well. I am really looking forward to starting the festivities off by going to Mike’s Bar and Grill for the Founders Tap Takeover. The Stouts are my downfall. Cheers to my first Cleveland Beer Week. Be Safe Y’all.

I’m most interested in the SoMoCho event – the collaboration with SoHo, Momocho, and Goose Island. That HAS to be good. Also anything with Bells Expedition Stout – YUM! 🙂

I can not decide, either ZYMATORE COLLECTION NIGHT or NIGHT OF THE FUNK.

The event that I’m watching most closely is the Founder’s Cask Conditioned Firkin tapping at Bedford Lizard. I’m not aware of which beer(s) they’ll offer, but it has the potential to be amazing and Winking Lizard never disappoints with their special events!

1. Roll Out The Barrel Aged Beers! at Brew Kettle – gotta love the uniqueness of these barrel aged beers.

2. Founder’s Cask Conditioned Firkin Tapping at Lizardville – Founders is a great brewery, you know they’ll have something special. Plus, it’s close to home.

3. Bell’s IPA Trifecta at Melt – Another great Michigan brewery showing off some unique brews at a place with great food – you just can’t go wrong. Cedar Rd. location for me.

PUMPKIN-A-PALOOZA! at Lilly Handmade Chocolates. Until you have paired beer with fine chocolates, you have not lived. I think the pumpkin beers sound divine. Love, Love, Love Lilly’s!

I can’t decide which one I’m looking forward to most. It would be either the Heavy Metal Dinner or the Collaboration Crawls. Waiting to hear more about the crawls.

This year, in addition to hopefully checking out BREWzilla, I would like to attend the Culture Yourself event at GLBC (Oct 21). I am really into the food and beer pairings, so this should be a great event!!
Later in the week, I hope to check out the Lefthand chocolate and beer pairing @ Lily’s handmade chocolates (Oct 24)in Cleveland….sounds amazing!!
My plan is to hopefully surprise my boyfriend with tickets to an event for Sweetest Day 🙂
